Introduction
------------
Hello and welcome to War : Update! This game is a fast paced, 2 player
action game, in which each player battles against the other for victory!
This game is designed to be short and fun, with each battle quick and
decisive. I hope you enjoy the game!

Note - this is a BETA release and not the final game. More features have
yet to be added / completed.

Installing
----------
Since your reading this, you probably have already installed the game.
However, if your having problems running the game after installing,
make sure that you unzip the game WITH DIRECTORYS.

Game Features
-------------

War : Update has the following features compared to its past inceptions :

	- Lush 640x480x32 graphics.
	- Vastly improved graphics, many 3D rendered.
	- Crystal clear WAV sound effects, MIDI and MP3 music.
	- Intro screens, main menu and 'play again' menu.
	- Improved health system - status bars.
	- Round system - 3 rounds = 1 game.
	- Many bug fixes.

How to Play
-----------
Each player is provided with a ship that has the ability to fire small
rockets. The objective is to fire enough rockets into the other player
to destroy them, and thus win the game!

At the top of the screen are two yellow bars, each of them indicating the
health of each player. As each player takes damage, the bar will start
showing red - when a players entire bar is red that player will be destroyed
and the other player wins.

After the first round is over, a small orange ball will be displayed under
the health bar of the player that one the round. As each player wins a

Notes
-----
Depending on where you got this game from, you may or may not have MP3 music
in the game, instead of low quality MIDI music. If you would like to replace
the MIDI music with your own MP3 music follow these steps :

	- Go to the directory where the game is installed (eg - C:\Games\War)
	- Go into the folder called 'Data'
	- Go into the folder called 'mp3'
	- Copy the music files you want to play into this folder
	- Name the music you want to play on the intro screen 'Intro.mp3'
	  (without the ' ')
	- Name the music you want to play during the game 'Game.mp3'
	  (without the ' ')

If you have downloaded the MP3 pack for the game, follow these steps :

	- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded
	- Double click on the file
	- Winzip should open the file. If you do not have winzip, you
	  can get it from www.winzip.com
	- Press the 'extract' button
	- Make sure that the 'preserve directory structure' button is
	  checked.
	- Choose the directory that you have installed War : Update to
	  and press extract
	- Run the game!

Note - you can only have 2 different mp3 files in the game at once. If you can't
get the music to play, you need to make sure the filenames are correct, and
the files are in the correct directory. If you need more help, please contact me.
